Personality Issue

Got this from the SSD blog..

You Are An ISFJ

The Nurturer

You have a strong need to belong, and you very loyal.

A good listener, you excel at helping others in practical ways.

In your spare time, you enjoy engaging your senses through art, cooking, and music.

You find it easy to be devoted to one person, who you do special things for.

In love, you express your emotions through actions.

Taking care of someone is how you love them. And you do it well!

At work, you do well in a structured environment. You complete tasks well and on time.

You would make a good interior designer, chef, or child psychologist.

How you see yourself: Competent, dependable, and detail oriented

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Boring, dominant, and stuck in a rut

It is just crazy how these tests are so true sometimes. Like this one, it is soooo dead on. I swear, if people didn't know me, they WOULD see me as boring. I don't do anything fun, preferring to just keep to myself. It's not healthy, I know, but I would prefer to go out and do something that I really, really like rather than just go out for the sake of it. Oh well, this is me and if people didn't like it, tough.

It's Time to Party!!

Well, not really, but I had finished marking my students' final exam papers yesterday and there's no work for me for a while so I'm truly relaxing and enjoying myself as much as I can while my fellow colleagues are still slaving away with marking. Hehehe..

So anyway, here are some recent LOs that I managed to do, in between marking. Hey, a girl really needs all the distraction she can get! :)

Using Melissa Bennett's Bundle of Boy kit - coming soon!

Using Becki Kress' Summer Sherbet kit - just love the torn papers!

Using a colab by Melissa Bennett & Micheline Martin, So Whatever..

Using Kawouette's Tropical Island

Using Sugarplum Paperie's China Blue kit and Sorbet Kisses flowers

Using Jennifer Schmitt's Grandma's Kitchen kit

Using Dani Alencar's Urban Feeling Soft Paper Pack, My True Valentine elements & alpha and also Button Fasteners.

Alright, now I'm off to scrap some more, never mind the fact that I am now in the office. :)

Some Recent LOs..

Hello everyone! I thought I would share some of my latest LOs today, while enabling at the same time.

For the past week I had been crazy busy. There are always things to do. It's the end of the semester already (well, nearly. The students are having exams right now), so I had been busy marking their assignments like crazy to get the coursework marks ready. Just finished that today but now I have piles of exam papers to mark. Sigh!! If only I can quit my job..

But I did get some scrapping done. I'm getting near to my 250 layouts in 2008 goal. Got almost 130 done!! Woohoo!! I was thinking that if I can get to 250 layouts before May, I'll change the goal to 361, so that will make a page a day. Hehehe... But it's still a long way to go, so just wish me luck and pray that I didn't lose my mojo along the way, like last time..

Anyway, here are some pages that I made..

Using Anja J's Springtime kit, now only $1.83!! Remember the challenge that I mentioned I would be hosting with LuAnn at ES? This is the page I made with the QP base provided by Rachel Martin. Come and play along to get your 5 points reward! 5 points = $0.25 in the shoppe!!

p.s: I'm on Anja's Guest CT for this month. Yay!!

Just in case you haven't heard, I'm now a Sunshine Sweetie!! So excited to be one. One of my assignments for April is Bold & Beautiful kit by Trish of Templates N More.

And here's a page I made using the Sunshine Girls' first in-store colab, Walking on Sunshine. It is so fab, you wouldn't wanna miss it.. :)

This is a page I scrapped using the kit United by Kawouette. Lovely colour scheme, right?? I've always wanted a black and pink LO and this is just the perfect kit..

And here are two pages I scrapped using Kalanice's adorable kit, Baby Cuddlings. It's a huge kit and the papers and elements are available separately. Don't be fooled by the name though, it's not just for babies!!

Here's one that I did using Jennifer Schmitt's Family Man. Love the colours of this kit and it is simply perfect to scrap those man (or men) in your life, no matter how big or small.. :)

Here's a page using Nicole's (Sugarplum Paperie) China Blue kit. I'm in love with the blue!!

I'm also on Melissa Bennett's Guest CT for this month!! So excited to be part of her team cos I had always been such a fan. Here's my first page using her adorable Spring Daze kit, using photos of my brother's family taken in Pangkor last year.

This is a page using Time After Time, a colab kit by Sherry Ferguson & Amanda Rockwell, with a dash of glitter stitches from the brand new Funky Junk collection by Sherry Ferguson. There are various stuff in the collection like glitter stitches (shown in the LO below), sequinned flowers, doodles, glitter strokes and foil stars. It is also available separately, for $1.50 now.

Okay, I swear this is the last LO. LOL!! This is made using Dani Alencar's Adorable Spring kit. I won a guest ct spot for Dani's CT so I'll be creating for her for the next two months!! :D

That's a lot of LOs huh? That's all for now guys. Happy Scrapping!!

What Kind of Thinker Are You?

Your Thinking is Concrete and Sequential

You are precise, orderly, and realistic.
You tend to get to the point and get things done.

Difficult, detailed work is easy for you. You take things step by step.

Time limits aren't a problem for you either. You work well with deadlines.

What does drive you crazy is any sort of task that isn't precisely laid out.

You don't like anything to be ambiguous. You prefer to deal with the facts at hand.

LOL!! Everything is just so true. I do love facts. In uni, I love theoretical studies more than the practical ones. It was crazy cos all my friends would be struggling with all theories and I just think everything theory-related is easy. And I do work well with deadlines. :D

Argh!!!

I did it. Something that I never thought I would, especially when I love doing it.

What I was talking about?

I resigned from Cherie Shields' team. It was with a heavy heart that I sent the email to Cherie and requested the termination of agreement. It sucks because I truly love creating for her.

Oh well, life happens.

Here's my last layout using one of Cherie's kit, Angelo Dolce, available at her Angelica Bertucci store at Sophia Sarducci..

To Cherie, thanks for everything!!

New at ES!!!

As most of you might have already known, Elemental Scraps had re-opened. Go and check out the new design and while you're at it, check out the new mega kit for April, Springs Hope. It is seriously beautiful and I am not just saying it because I'm a CT there. LOL..

Here's a layout that I made with it. Of course, this is just one. There are so many stuff in there that you can do many more.

Check out the brand new challenges at the forum too! I'll be co-hosting the It's Elementary My Dear Scrappers with LuAnn. Each week we'll provide a basic quick page and you can have the chance to make the page into YOUR OWN page. Rotate it, flip it, add elements to it.. Whatever you wanna do.

There are other challenges of course, like Font Jaunt, Spin-a-Lift, Bits and Pieces, ScrapJack, A Way with Words, Scissors and Bandaids... and more! Seriously, everything looks exciting, especially when you can earn points towards a GC to the shoppe!

Hope to see you guys there!!

How's Your Spelling?

Your Spelling is Good

You got 9/10 correct.
Your spelling is generally pretty decent. You are prone to a few mistakes, but the mistakes you make are pretty forgivable.

Mine apparently needs a bit of work. LOL! I must have missed something..
