At this rate, I still can't believe that I'm still in the running for the grand prize for the So You Think You Can Design contest over at Scrap Orchard. We have to do a hybrid template and I was thinking of doing something elaborate, but decided to stick with this set of bookmarks instead. Fuss-free, stress-free and definitely lovely. LOL.. Feel free to grab it if you wanna..

Here's how a couple of the bookmarks looked like when it's decorated. I used Karen Lewis' Lil Mister kit for these.. Look nice, isn't it? (Well, if I do say so myself. LOL!)

Challenges, Challenges...

Hey guys, I'm hosting two challenges at two different sites now. Come and play along will ya?

The first one is at Elemental Scraps where you'll be playing with a very basic QP and make it YOUR own. Dress it up with papers, elements, alphas... whatever that you have in your stash. Here's the QP we'll be playing with for the next two weeks and you can go visit this thread for more info. You can get 5 points to be used in the shoppe upon completion..

Another challenge is The Saturday Special at ScrapMatters, something to do with music and lyrics. Draw your inspiration for a layout from the songs you're listening to and get this beautiful participation prize designed by Britt-ish Designs.

I Took The Plunge...

... into template designing. Of course I had done templates before but just for my own use and never for others. But this time around, I decided to just try my hands on the So You Think You Can Design competition over at Scrap Orchard. As I couldn't design kits if my life depended on it, I just decided to design templates. Even if I didn't win, it would be a great experience for me, opening me up to a whole other possibilities.. :)

So anyway, here's my submission..

This Is The Only Time...

...when the so-called 'shopaholic' in me came out rearing its ugly head!

Hey, give me a break! I rarely spent the money I earned on myself and well, it's officially NSD! Woohoo! Been at the computer since 7pm (Malaysian time of course) and still at it right now at 2am. Yikes! I badly need to go to sleep but how can I when there are things to buy (hehehe..), challenges to do and be a general nuisance in taking down the entire community of digital scrapbooking? LOL..

I managed to get a bit of scrapping done earlier and here they are..
