Masculine Colours

Hey guys, do you have boys and men in your life that you would love to scrap but don't know which kit to get? I have two perfect kits for you: Boys 2 Men by Cherie Shields and My Boy by Becki Kress. Both are perfect for those masculine layouts, boy pages and still be versatile for others as well..

Here's my layout with My Boy.. I totally love the bright colours in this one, just perfect for your active boys. If only my nephew is older, then I would have used this kit to scrap about him.

And here are my layouts using Boys 2 Men. Chockful of elements and I love everything, especially the star ribbons and the LOVE beads..

Definitely a change from the colours I usually used but I totally love it.. :)

Looking Back..

This week, I looked at our vacation pictures to Indonesia a lot. It certainly bring back some memories of the trip. There are lots (and I do mean A LOT) of photos that I want to scrap but still haven't found the time. Anyway, wish we can go for another trip very much like this one, the whole family together, but this time along with my brother's family cos they didn't get to go last time. Oh well, we have the trip to Penang in June and Kuching in August to look forward to, so that's definitely better than nothing. Anyway, here are the pages I made.

This is for the March Bubblegum Challenge at Digital Candy, which is to use timeline in a layout. I used My Boy kit by Becki Kress..

---------------------------------------------

This page is for ADSR 3 Challenge #8. I used the kit that I got from Mira Designs, Sophisticated Blues. Love that kit!!

And oh yeah, I was spotlighted on the ScrapMatters team blog!! Go and check it out, peeps.. :)

Woohoo!!

It's officially CT Appreciation Week and the designers got together to do a colab kit for their creative team members. It's freakin' huge! I was told it's around 2.5gb. Thankfully I had cleared some space from my EHD and can download things happily. LOL...

Anyway, speaking of CT, I had been accepted for another CT position. I can't tell much yet cos I had just received the offer and have not yet received the confirmation, but here's a hint. One of the designers I do CT work for is selling her stuff there and I had just posted layouts I made from one of her kits just below this post. Hehehe... that's easy enough I guess. And anyway, I know it might seem as if I'm stretching myself too thin, but seriously, I do love doing this CT stuff.

Oh, I wanted to share this. I won this last February but forgot to share, I guess. LOL... I submitted this for a TDC Scraplift challenge and won a $5 GC to Karen Lewis' store. It's a good thing I'm a fan but it's gonna be soooo hard to choose from what I like..

Anyway, here are 2 more layouts that I had just finished.

I made this using a template for SSD's Cookie Decorating 101 #30, which was a really wonderful template made from a wonderful layout which I had wanted to lift since I saw it last month.

This is for the ABC Challenge with Constance at DC. Enter to get 20 points towards a GC for the DC store! Anyway, while I'm at it, I would love to pimp the kit I used for the layout, which is Grasshopper Kisses by the wonderful Nicole (from Sugarplum Paperie) & Flergs. There are so many goodies in there and the kit is priced at only $6. Great bargain from two great designers.. Anyway, here's the preview of the kit.. Blues and Browns

I had the opportunity to play with Becki Kress' Tom Boy kit and I am soooo in love with it. Particularly because of the colours. Blue and brown is definitely the best colour combo ever. Well, actually any colour that is combined with brown is good. Anyway, the kit is now only $2.50 and I really felt like it's a good bargain. Here's a preview of the kit and below it are the layouts I made with it. (images are clickable)

And while you're it, do check out the new colab kit by Becki Kress and Little Mrs Liz, Tainted Love..

It is now going for only $4.50!! Great bargain for a kit chockful of stuff. I'm checking it out now and will come back with some layouts later.. :) Until then, cheers everyone!

Epoxy Goodies!

When I first started digital scrapping, I fell in love with a thing called epoxy. I just love the jelly-like stuff, and how it looks great on LOs. So, just imagine what a nice surprise it was to see these little goodies in Cherie Shield's GP store. Fans of epoxy, rejoice!! I just love these stuff, especially the teeny weeny alpha and I can definitely see myself using it over and over again.. (the frames are $3.50 per pack and the alpha is $3.00.. Go and get it!!)

*all images are clickable*

And here are my sample layouts using these goodies.. Just in case you couldn't see it, on my first LO, I used the Teeny Weeny Alpha for journaling. It's absolutely perfect for highlighting some of the words in your journaling. And it comes with a blank one also, so you can add whatever you want on it to personalize and make it your own.. :)

Back to work. Gotta go and get ready for a class this afternoon. Toodles and happy scrapping everyone.

ADSR Challenge #2

Here's our (mine & Zakirah) layout for Challenge #2. We had to do a layout collaboration and I have to say that it was a lot of fun. Challenging, of course, but fun nonetheless. This is definitely one for the album. Can't wait to get it printed..

I'll be getting some money around this week so just guess what time is it. That's right! It's time to go shopping!! s4H friendly designers, here I come! LOL..

It's March Already?

I was surprised when I realized that the first day of March is already here. My last full month of working because by the end of this month, the students will be busy with their exam stuff so we get to rest for a bit. Well, at least until it's time to mark the papers. LOL... Anyway, now that February is over, so does my guest stint with Diamante Designs and Mama Mia. So very sad to go cos they're the very first designers I created for but I am very grateful for them for giving me the chance to scrap using their wonderful products. Lori gave me a coupon worth $25 as a thank you, so I had been going wild in her shop this morning. These were some of what I had bought.. (And of course the keyword here being SOME..)

Lori also has this new collab kit with Melgen Designs, called Mountain Valley, which was simply gorgeous! Here's my layout using that kit..

And while I'm still pimping the designers, here's my newest one, using Sherry Ferguson's Shabby Sugar kit. So sweet with a touch of shabbiness, just the way I like it. Anyway, this is for one of the TDC's Sketch Challenge, using nikkiARNGwife's sketch template.
